Terms & Conditions 

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions: Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to First Choice Marquee Hire. Service refers to the Website and the marquee hire and related event services provided by the Company. Website refers to First Choice Marquee Hire, accessible from www.firstchoicemarqueehire.co.uk. You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. Goods refers to the marquees, accessories, furniture, and any other equipment provided by the Company for hire. Event refers to the occasion for which the Goods are hired. Hire Period refers to the duration for which the Goods are hired, as specified in the Hire Agreement. Hire Agreement refers to the specific contract signed between the Company and You, detailing the Goods, Hire Period, fees, and specific terms for your Event.

All quotations provided by the Company are valid for a period of [e.g., 30 days] from the date of issue. Quotations are based on the information provided by You and may be subject to revision if Your requirements or site conditions change.

The outstanding balance of the hire fee is due [e.g., 28 days] prior to the commencement of the Hire Period. Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of Your booking without refund of the deposit.

In the event of cancellation by You, the following charges will apply: [e.g., 25%] of the total hire fee if cancelled [e.g., more than 90 days] prior to the Hire Period (deposit retained). [e.g., 50%] of the total hire fee if cancelled between [e.g., 30 and 90 days] prior to the Hire Period. [e.g., 100%] of the total hire fee if cancelled [e.g., less than 30 days] prior to the Hire Period.

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt by the Company of a signed Hire Agreement and a non-refundable deposit of [e.g., 25%] of the total hire fee. The deposit secures Your chosen Goods and dates.

As the Hirer, You agree to: Site Suitability: Ensure the proposed site for the marquee is suitable, accessible, and has sufficient space for the erection and dismantling of the Goods. You must inform the Company of any underground services (e.g., pipes, cables) prior to installation. Access: Provide clear and unobstructed access to the site for delivery, installation, and collection of the Goods. Safety: Ensure the safety of all persons on or near the Goods during the Hire Period. You must not tamper with the Goods or allow unauthorised persons to do so. Security: Be responsible for the security of the Goods from the time of installation until collection by the Company. Any loss or damage to the Goods during the Hire Period will be Your responsibility. Permits and Permissions: Obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and permissions (e.g., planning permission, landowner consent) required for the erection of the marquee at Your chosen site. Prohibited Items: Not use any cooking equipment, open flames, or highly flammable materials inside or in close proximity to the marquee without prior written consent from the Company.

A refundable damage waiver or security deposit may be required, as specified in the Hire Agreement. This deposit will be returned to You within [e.g., 14 days] after the Hire Period, provided the Goods are returned in the same condition as supplied, fair wear and tear excepted.

First Choice Marquee Hire agrees to: Delivery and Installation: Deliver and install the Goods safely and professionally at the agreed-upon site and time. Quality of Goods: Provide Goods that are in good working order, clean, and fit for their intended purpose. Expertise: Provide experienced and qualified personnel for the installation and dismantling of the Goods. Insurance: Maintain adequate public liability insurance for the Company's operations during installation and dismantling. Dismantling and Collection: Dismantle and collect the Goods efficiently and discreetly at the end of the Hire Period.
